Is this a company using plant-based cleaners and green products like what I use? They should be safe for you, your family, pets, and the environment. Will they talk about the products they use and why, or do they hide them?

Have you considered water disposal like I have? Many cleaners dump the dirty water in your yard or even on your driveway. Unfortunately, it can then become runoff and contaminate the groundwater leading to numerous environmental concerns.

Did you know there are several different cleaning methods available? The following are the two major categories:

1. Hot Water Extraction (HWE) – Disinfects and fully washes the carpet fibers, removing: bacteria, fungi, viruses, pet dander, allergens, skin cells, dirt/soil, stains, oils, and grease. This provides the most complete and thorough clean possible. Additional details and benefits are discussed throughout the site. This is also the process that I have chosen to use.
2. Very Low Moisture (VLM) – Including Drychem and Encapsulation are not a bad solution for in-between cleanings, especially on commercial. But keep in mind, this isn’t going to give the same quality results as a deep HWE carpet cleaning in your home.

Make sure to choose a carpet cleaner who will take the time to do a quality job and is looking out for your best interests.

Do they have the equipment and tools to do the job right? Will they go the extra mile for excellent results, even if that means getting additional equipment out if needed?

Some cleaners are budget/low-cost providers, but at what cost to possibly your health and carpet cleanliness. By doing a job cheap there is a sacrifice being made somewhere, possibly in the quality of work and the desired outcome, which may not even be visible to the eye.

We have all used a home shampooer or rented a low power portable unit, but you’re hiring a professional cleaner- your goal is ultimately the cleanest carpet possible.

Often cheap products are used to save money. Good chemistry isn’t cheap, and while budget chemicals may do the job, they aren’t the answer. They aren’t good for your health, the environment, and may even cause your carpets to re-soil faster.
